Program Objective

Our scholarship program aims to facilitate access to post-secondary education by providing financial support to deserving students. We believe that every young talent deserves an equal chance to pursue their dreams, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Scholarship Amount

The MB Capital Foundation offers a generous scholarship to selected students:

  • $2,000 per student in Grade 10
  • An additional $2,000 in Grade 11
  • An additional $2,000 in Grade 12

If eligibility criteria are met from year to year, the student will be eligible for a scholarship covering expenses associated with pursuing post-secondary education up to a maximum of $6,000.

ELIGIBLE EXPENSES

Scholarship funds must be used to cover the following expenses related to post-secondary education programs, including: tuition fees, books and tools, transportation, rent, and other expenses related to the post-secondary project.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for our scholarship, the student must meet the following criteria:

LOW-INCOME FAMILY

Applicants are required to provide the family’s tax assessment notices from the past two years to evaluate their eligibility.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

We encourage academic success. Applicants must present an end-of-year report card with an average of 70% or higher.

MOTIVATION TO SUCCEED

Students must write a motivation letter (maximum 400 words) in which they share their interests, projects, and extracurricular involvement. This letter must be signed, approved, and endorsed by a teacher or another staff member from their high school.

PROOF OF STUDY

The student must provide proof of enrollment in a post-secondary education program for more than 12 weeks before receiving reimbursement for expenses.

How to Apply?

Candidates must provide the following documents:

  1. Application form
  2. Report cards from the first two terms of the current year
  3. Motivation letter signed by a teacher or school staff member
  4. Tax assessment notice from the last year (from both parents or legal guardians)
  5. Written consent from the parent (or legal guardian)
  6. End-of-year report card

Please note : The application deadline is July 15. Recipients will be announced before the start of the following school year, and the scholarship program is offered annually for a maximum duration of 3 years.
