The name change and the new image is part of the company\u2019s international expansion and internal succession plan.<\/p>\n<p>MB Capital has currently invested in a dozen manufacturing, distribution, and service companies located in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Montreal\u2019s South Shore and most recently the Detroit area in Michigan. The company specializes in acquiring SMB\u2019s lacking a succession plan.<\/p>\n<p>For the company\u2019s president <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbcapital.co\/team\/mario-beaudoin\/\">Mario Beaudoin<\/a>, this rebranding is a first step towards progressively passing down the management of the day to day activities of the company to the regional directors.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Our objective in the coming years is to ensure the growth of our portfolio companies and proceed with the acquisition of four to six new companies. The new structure in place will facilitate the achievement of our objectives,&#8221; states Mario Beaudoin, who will remain Chairman of the company.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At the same time, <em>Gestion Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie Capital<\/em>, MB Capital\u2019s sister company becomes MB Capital Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie. The activities on Montreal\u2019s South Shore are under the direction of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbcapital.co\/team\/louis-charles-durocher\/\">Louis-Charles Durocher<\/a>, associate director and son of the late Claude Durocher who was a partner in <em>Gestion Estrie Capital<\/em> for over 15 years.
